raster.utm_zone_to_crs()

Create a CRS from a UTM zone.

Usage

raster.utm_zone_to_crs(utm_zone)

Parameters

utm_zone: str: UTM zone such as "32N" or "01S".

Returns

pyproj.CRS: The coordinate reference system.

Raises

ValueError: If utm_zone is malformed, the zone is outside 1-60, or the hemisphere is not 'N'/'S'.
