raster.get_utm_zone_string()

Extract zero-padded UTM zone identifier.

Usage

raster.get_utm_zone_string(projparams)

Parameters

projparams: Any: An object that can initialize a pyproj.CRS class instance, e.g., a EPSG code or any object that implements to_wkt().

Returns

str: UTM zone identifier (e.g., ‘32N’, ‘01S’)

Raises

ValueError: If UTM zone cannot be extracted.
