## mgrs.UTMZones


Generate all 120 UTM zones (60 north + 60 south) in WGS84.


Usage

``` python
mgrs.UTMZones()
```


Handles the Norway (zone 31V/32V) and Svalbard (band X) exceptions where UTM zone boundaries deviate from the standard 6° longitudinal width.

#### find_intersecting()


Return UTM zones that intersect the given geometry.


Usage

``` python
find_intersecting(geometry)
```


Accepts a single scalar geometry or an array/series of geometries. For a scalar query, `sindex.query` returns a 1-D array of positional matches; for a bulk query it returns a 2-D `(input_idx, tree_idx)` array whose second row holds the matches.

#### get_zone_geometry()


Return the WGS84 geometry of a single UTM zone.


Usage

``` python
get_zone_geometry(zone, hemisphere)
```

`ValueError`  
If `zone`/`hemisphere` are invalid or name no known zone.
